Bikes are usually used for going from A to B, but this work shows off the grace and movement of bikes en masse as they circle and dance with each other as their riders create formations on bikes as well as movement off and around the bikes.
The work that has been choreographed by highly experienced dancer and choreographer Susan Jordan, and is an eco-friendly update of a 1990s work created for the Wellington Fringe Festival called Car Ballet. For this version she will work with local cyclists to create the work.
