During the Festival

The Hamilton Gardens Festival Box Office is open 20 Feb to 3 March from 5pm until late weekdays, 10am until late weekends. All payment types accepted. Please allow extra time to pick up tickets on site as the box office can be busy.

Ticket Fees

Booking fees, delivery fees and credit card fees apply across all booking channels.

Concession Tickets

For those that are under 18 or over 65 years of age, or able to produce a valid student ID card, Actors Equity, or Community Services card. Cards or ID may be requested.

Conditions

The Hamilton Gardens Summer Festival Foundation reserves the right to alter, without notice, any advertised schedule of artists, events, or programmes. Tickets are subject to availability.

Tickets are non-transferable between events and there will be no refunds or exchanges on completed bookings except as required by law. Please be sure you choose your tickets carefully and agree to the Terms and Conditions of sale before confirming your purchase.
The Festival retains the right to admit latecomers only at a suitable point in the performance. If a show is cancelled the ticket price will be refunded only if the ticket is returned to the Festival Box Office by 3rd March 2019.

The Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival is a series of independent events organised by different groups and organisations. The overall promoter is the Hamilton Gardens Summer Festival Foundation, a Charitable Trust. The Foundation is not responsible for individual actions of any event organisers, including cancellations.

Food and Beverage

The Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival takes pride in being a relaxed family friendly event which encourages and monitors the responsible use of alcohol at our events. There is a permanent liquor ban in place outside of our specially licensed areas from 10pm each night.

There will be a selection of food and drinks available for purchase at the festival from 5pm every night and 10am at the weekends, we invite you to come and enjoy a meal with us!

Wet Weather

Wet Weather venues are in place for events where possible – THE SHOW MUST GO ON! Please check the website www.hgaf.co.nz or Festival social media for information, or the Festival Box Office located in the Hamilton Gardens.

Note most venues are outside, so do come prepared for all possible weather situations.

Sound Bleeds

Given the outdoor nature of the gardens and this site-specific setting, performances may sometimes suffer from sound bleeds due to the matrix of performances taking place. The Festival cannot issue refunds to audience members who experience sound bleeds during the festival.

Waikato River Explorer are running a special festival timetable, with departures at 4.30pm, 5.30pm, and 6.30pm from the city jetty to the Gardens on Friday and Saturday evenings. Book with them on www.waikatoexplorer.co.nz
