Artists Zena Elliott (Ngāti Awa and Te Whanau ā Apanui) and Tia Barratt (Ngai Tahu and Tainui) take a trans-disciplinary approach to Māori sculpture, moving image and sound, exploring notions of visibility and fluidity within creative practice in this special collaborative exhibition. Drawing on multiple histories, including her own whakapapa, street art and abstract painting, Zena Elliott’s energy-filled works explore notions of individual identity within an international community.
